Keryn Foley
 

Keryn Foley is an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with the Attorney General’s Department and an Accredited Mediator with the AMDRAS Board Ltd. She joined Centacare South West NSW in 2018. 

Keryn has worked as a mediator since 2002, as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner since 2007 and as child consultant since 2017. She has worked with parents, grandparents and children in the context of family breakdown, grief and loss, separation and divorce in ways that are child-focussed and child-inclusive. Keryn has also provided psycho-educational group sessions to support parents following separation, as well as talking with parents about how conflict affects children. 

Keryn’s previous roles include adjunct lecturer in the Dispute Resolution program at Charles Sturt University, ministerial appointee for the Community Justice Centre, and volunteer counsellor, community educator and trainer for the Australian Breastfeeding Association from 1993 to 2017.

Keryn graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2014 with a Masters in Dispute Resolution and has training in family mediation, family group conferencing, elder and workplace mediation, transformative and restorative justice models, as well as in recognising and responding to situations involving abuse and neglect.
